Therapeutic modalities & approach

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and understood. I am a Health at Every Size (HAES) oriented practitioner and am aligned with the values of weight inclusivity and respectful care. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can process difficult emotions, address patterns of shame or self-criticism, and move toward self-acceptance. I work collaboratively with clients, tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals. My approach prioritizes safety, choice, and empowerment at every step of the therapeutic process.

In my work with clients navigating eating disorders and disordered eating, I recognize the courage it takes to seek help and the complex emotions that accompany recovery. I help clients reduce disordered eating behaviors, develop balanced and sustainable eating habits, and cultivate a compassionate relationship with their bodies. This process involves more than "fixing behaviors"—it’s about unearthing deeper narratives around worthiness, control, and self-identity. I partner with registered dietitians and other care providers to ensure comprehensive support for my clients’ recovery.

I also support clients navigating depression, anxiety, everyday life stressors, and life transitions. These experiences can leave clients feeling overwhelmed or "stuck," and I’m here to provide a space for exploration, understanding, and change. We work together to reduce self-criticism, shift perfectionist thinking, and develop healthy boundaries in relationships. I support clients in untangling internalized messages from diet culture, media, and past experiences, so they can live more freely and authentically.
