Common Questions
& Answers
1 / Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes! I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation so we can get a sense of whether we’re a good fit. This is a chance for you to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and learn more about how I work with no pressure or commitment. Finding the right therapist is important, and I want you to feel supported in that process.
2 / Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes, all sessions are offered virtually. You can attend from the comfort of your own space, as long as you're in a state where I’m licensed to practice (currently Massachusetts).
3 / Who do you work with?
I work with individuals ages 16 and up. Many of my clients are navigating eating disorders, body image struggles, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and a desire to feel more connected to themselves.
4 / How long are sessions?
Individual sessions are typically 60 minutes. Group sessions vary in length, typically running 60–90 minutes.
5 / How often do we meet?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, but we’ll decide together what pace of work feels supportive for you.
6 / Do you take insurance?
I have partnered with Alma and Headway to accept a wide range of insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, United Health Care, and more.
Additionally, I can provide superbills for reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network benefits. I'm happy to walk you through how that works.
I reserve a small number of sliding scale/reduced fee spots because I value equity and accessibility in mental health care. If cost is a barrier, feel free to reach out; we can discuss what’s possible. Please note that these spots are limited and may have a waitlist depending on current availability.
7 / What’s your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments are subject to the full session fee.
8 / What is your therapeutic approach?
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in connection. I draw from somatic therapy, mindfulness, and other integrative modalities tailored to your needs.
9 / Can I work with you if I’m not sure what I need?
Absolutely. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal to begin. If something feels off, heavy, or overwhelming, therapy can be a place to make sense of it together.
